Introductory Workshops

Enthusiastic about wine? Want to know more ? Confused by the wine labels? Whatever the reason, each of our introductory workshops will develop your knowledge of wine and likely increase your interest further.

Choosing which course ? The course content is designed to complement one another and each will add further knowledge and experience. The One Day Workshop tastes wines from around the world, introduces the concepts and vocabulary of wine tasting, and compares the nuances of wine making in the Old World and the New World.

The Old World and New World Workshops briefly introduce/recap on the systematic approach to wine tasting learnt in the One Day Workshop and will then concentrate on wines from specific countries, explaining amongst other things the differences in regions, classifications and wine making methods.
