Who is this course aimed at?
Do you find it difficult to make sense of the Burgundian wine labels? Would you like to be able to choose good Burgundy in a restaurant or shop, confident that you are not going to be disappointed? Then this workshop is for you...Burgundian wines can be the most exciting and sensual in the world – but the region is often described as a minefield due to the multiplicity of growers, vineyards and styles. Let us show you the way...
Our Goal
The Pyramids. The Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Red Burgundy! It really is up there with the wonders of the world – amazingly perfumed, earthy and complex. But, a bit like the little girl with the curl: when she is good, she is very, very good. But when she is bad, she is horrid! Let’s face it, due to the multiplicity of growers, vineyards and styles, buying Burgundy is quite simply a minefield. Our Burgundy workshop will show you what this region can offer at its best and help you avoid those really expensive mistakes. Can you really buy proper Burgundy for under £25? We will show you how and much more.
